Meaning
Madhurakavi begins with the great and wondrous Lord who once allowed himself to be bound by a fine, knotted little cord. Yet, he says, more even than that Lord, my own father, it is the name of the Nambi of southern Kurukur — Nammazhvar — that delights me: the moment I say it, a nectar-like sweetness wells up on my tongue.
