Meaning
The girls announce the discipline of their vow to everyone living in the world. They will sing the feet of the supreme one who sleeps gently on the ocean of milk, bathe at dawn, and give up ghee and milk; they will not line their eyes with kohl or wear flowers in their hair, will do nothing forbidden, and will speak no hurtful gossip. Instead they will give alms and charity as far as they are able, keeping their minds joyfully fixed on the path of salvation.
