Meaning

They praise him as the strong one who marches ahead of the thirty-three gods and takes away their fear, the flawless one whose heat scorches his enemies, upright and mighty, and call him to wake. Then they wake Nappinnai too, lovely as Lakshmi, with her soft form, red lips, and slender waist. Let her give them a fan and a mirror, and her own husband with them, and let them be bathed in his presence this very moment.
