Meaning
They tell Govinda, glorious conqueror of all who oppose him, what reward they hope for after singing him and receiving the drum. They will be adorned in ornaments the whole country will admire: bracelets, armlets, earrings and ear-flowers, anklets, and many jewels besides, with fine new clothes to wear. Then they will eat rice cooked in milk, so covered in ghee that it runs down their elbows, all seated together in shared contentment.
