Meaning

The Azhwar marvels that the Lord cut away the grip of his heavy, age-old karma, made him His own, and then, not stopping there, entered right into him. He cannot imagine what fierce penance he could have done to deserve it, and concludes that it is Ranganatha's chest, adorned with the sacred garland, that has taken this servant into His service.
