Meaning
He praises the father who abides in Srirangam, ringed by groves where winged bees make their home — the Lord who once relieved the distress of Shiva, wearer of the white crescent moon. Behold, he says, the throat that swallowed the whole of creation, the great earth and the seven towering mountains: that throat is what has lifted this servant to safety.
