The poet gazes on the Lord holding the coiled conch and the fiery discus, His form true and towering like a great mountain, His tall crown fragrant with tulasi. This dear father of his, the wondrous one resting on the serpent bed in beautiful Srirangam — alas, His red lips have stolen the poet's mind away.
