Meaning
An open call goes out: if any of you live wholly given to the Lord's service, come, take up the ceremonial earth and join the festivity. Those who serve merely for their keep will not be admitted to our company, for through seven generations our line has been without blame. Together we sing many years to him who fought that battle and left Lanka, home of the rakshasas, in ruins.
