Meaning

He gives fine rice rich with ghee, the honor of constant close service at his side, betel for the hand, ornaments for the neck, earrings for the ears, and good sandal paste for the body, and he can make my very soul pure and bright. To him whose banner bears the foe of the hooded serpent, I will sing many years.
