Meaning
Inside, they wake the household one by one. First Nandagopa, their generous lord who gives away clothing, water, and food; then Yashoda, the tender shoot among women and lamp of the clan. Then the lord himself, king of the celestials, who tore through the sky and measured the worlds, and finally Baladeva of the golden anklets; let both brothers give up their sleep.
